Hahnemühle German Etching Fine Art Print
Signed and Numbered by the Artist
A dear friend from Colombia introduced me to a fascinating story. Two Jewish congregations were rapidly growing in the Colombia - Shirat Hayyam, in the coastal city of Santa Marta and Javura Nahariyah in the river port city of Barranquilla. Both congregations were made up entirely of converts. As a fledgling community without a synagogue, the members of Shirat Hayyam would meet at sunset on a beach by the Carribean Sea, to study Torah.
